Where things stand today
The Ripple app has not launched. Right now this website collects waitlist email addresses and free Wayfinder reservations, which hold a lower annual price for you until the app reaches the App Store. Nothing is sold on this website and no card is ever collected here.
These terms cover both. Using this website means you accept them now. Creating an account in the app, when it launches, means you accept them then. The sections about profiles, messaging, and conduct describe how Ripple works from launch day, and they are the standard we are building to.
Who can use Ripple
You must be at least 18 years old. This is not a soft rule and there is no version of Ripple for anyone younger.
You also confirm that you are legally able to enter this agreement, that you are not required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction, and that you have never been convicted of a felony or an indictable offense involving violence or a sexual offense.
If we find out an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it immediately and delete the data. If you believe a minor is using Ripple, email hello@rippledating.com and we will treat it as urgent.
Your account
One account per person. Use your real information, including a real birth date, birth time, and birth place, because the entire product is built on them being accurate. A chart cast from invented details will tell you nothing true.
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
You can delete your account at any time from your settings, or by emailing us.
Acceptable Use Policy
Ripple has a full Acceptable Use Policy, and it is part of these terms. What follows is the core of it. The full policy covers age restrictions, prohibited content, fraud, illegal acts, and how we enforce all of it.
Absolutely prohibited
These are not rule violations. They are crimes, and we report them.
- Human trafficking and sex trafficking of any kind, including sexual exploitation, forced labour, and any attempt to recruit, transport, harbour, advertise, or obtain a person for those purposes
- Child sexual exploitation or abuse, including any child sexual abuse material, sexualised depiction of a minor, or attempt to contact, groom, or solicit a minor for a sexual purpose
- Sexual violence, including rape, sexual assault, coercion into any sexual act, and threatening any of them
- Non consensual content, including sharing or threatening to share intimate images or recordings of anyone without their consent
- Aiding, abetting, facilitating, promoting, or encouraging abuse, violence, or exploitation, whether directed at a Ripple user or anyone else
- Offering, requesting, advertising, or arranging prostitution, escort services, or any sexual act in exchange for money, goods, or anything of value
Also prohibited
- Sexually explicit profile content. No nudity, partial nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive imagery in profile photos, profile text, or display names
- Nude or sexually explicit images or messages sent to anyone
- Pretending to be someone you are not, including using another person's photos
- Harassing, threatening, stalking, or intimidating anyone
- Any scheme intended to defraud another person on Ripple, including romance scams and cryptocurrency or investment schemes
- Asking anyone on Ripple for money, gifts, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or financial help of any kind
- Promoting, advertising, or selling anything, including your own business or another platform
- Anything hateful, aimed at someone for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation
- Sharing anyone's private information, or anything about them, without their consent
- Automated accounts, scraping, or any attempt to access parts of Ripple you are not meant to reach
- Anything illegal, or anything that helps someone else do something illegal
Romance scams are the reason the money rule exists. Nobody you meet on Ripple should ever need your bank details, your card, or a wire transfer. If someone asks, report them and do not send anything.
Reporting, and what we do about it
Every profile and every conversation in Ripple has a report option, and reporting someone also lets you block them in the same step. You do not have to explain yourself to block anyone.
We review reports ourselves. Depending on what we find, we remove content, warn the account, suspend it, or close it permanently and block the person from making another. Reports involving a minor, a threat of violence, or a sexual offense go to the top of the queue and, where the law requires it, to the appropriate authorities.
We may also remove content or close an account without a report, if we find something on our own. We do not owe an explanation to an account we close for breaking the rules above.

Protocols for law enforcement
This section is for law enforcement officers, and for anyone who wants to know how we handle these requests.
Where to send a request
Send all legal process and law enforcement requests to hello@rippledating.com with Law Enforcement Request in the subject line, or by mail to Ripple Dating LLC, 2800 E. Enterprise Ave STE 333, Appleton, WI 54913, USA. Please include your name, agency, badge or identification number, an official agency email address, a direct phone number, and the specific account, email address, or username the request concerns.
What we need before we disclose anything
We disclose user information when we receive valid legal process appropriate to the request under United States law. In general that means a subpoena, court order, or search warrant issued by a court of competent jurisdiction. Requests from outside the United States should come through a mutual legal assistance treaty, letter rogatory, or another recognised channel. We do not hand over account data on an informal request.
Emergencies
If there is a credible risk of death or serious physical harm to someone, mark the subject line Emergency Disclosure Request and describe the emergency, the harm you are trying to prevent, and why the information is needed now. We review these immediately and may disclose what is necessary to address the emergency without waiting for legal process.
Preservation
We honour written preservation requests from law enforcement and will preserve the account records we hold for 90 days while you obtain legal process, renewable once on request.
Notifying the user
Our policy is to tell a person when their information has been requested, so they have a chance to object, unless we are legally prohibited from telling them, or unless we believe telling them would create a risk of harm to someone or would interfere with an investigation into child exploitation or trafficking.
Reporting we do without being asked
Where we become aware of child sexual abuse material or the sexual exploitation of a minor, we report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as required by United States law, and preserve the relevant records. Where we become aware of a credible threat to life, we contact the appropriate authorities.
What we can and cannot provide
We can provide the account records we actually hold, which currently means the email address on the account and the dates it was created and used. We hold no payment card data of any kind. Memberships are bought through the Apple App Store, so Apple processes the payment and holds the card. Requests for payment records should go to Apple.
Safety, plainly
We do not run criminal background checks on anyone. We do not verify that people are who they claim to be beyond what the app can reasonably check. A compatible chart says nothing about whether a person is safe.
Meet in public. Tell someone where you are going. Trust the feeling that says leave.
Ripple is a place to find people. What happens after that is between you and them, and it is outside our control.
What astrology is doing here
Ripple casts real charts using real astronomical data, and reads them using techniques astrologers have used for centuries. We take that seriously and we do it carefully.
It is still astrology. Ripple is for reflection, self-understanding, and finding people worth your time. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and nothing Ripple tells you should replace talking to a professional who is qualified to help.
Lyra, our AI Oracle, is the same. She reads your chart back to you and responds to what you bring her. She is not a therapist or a counselor, and she can be wrong. Treat what she says as something to think about, not something to act on without thinking.
Memberships and payment
Ripple has a free tier and two paid tiers. Prices are on the website and in the app.
Every membership is bought inside the app through the Apple App Store. Ripple does not take card payments and never handles your card. Apple processes the payment, and Apple issues any refund.
Paid memberships renew automatically until you cancel. We email you before every annual renewal, and so does Apple. You cancel through Apple, in Settings on your device, and cancelling stops future billing.
Because Apple holds the purchase, Apple decides refunds on it. We cannot issue or reverse one. We will tell you exactly how to ask and, where your situation warrants it, write to Apple in support of the request. How the Wayfinder rate lock works and what ends it is in the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.
Your content, and ours
What you write and upload stays yours. By putting it in Ripple you give us permission to store it and show it to the people you are meant to see it, which is what makes the app function. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies sitting in routine backups until they cycle out.
Ripple itself, the name, the interpretations, the scoring, the design, and Lyra, belongs to Ripple Dating LLC. Please do not copy it.
Ending things
You can leave whenever you want. Delete your account in settings or email us and we will do it.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account for a rule violation, we do not support a refund of the remaining time. If we close a paid account for any other reason, we will ask Apple to refund it and back that request ourselves.
The legal necessities
Ripple is provided as it is. We work hard on it, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will find you anyone. Compatibility scores are an interpretation, not a prediction.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Ripple Dating LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow those limits, and where that is true, they do not apply to you.
You agree to these terms under the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Changes
If we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email you rather than only editing the page. Continuing to use Ripple after a change means you accept it.
