What we collect today
The Ripple app is still being built, so this site is not yet connected to it. The only personal information we collect here is your email address, the date and time you joined, and if you reserved a Wayfinder rate, which tier you chose. Reserving is free and takes no card.
We also collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics: which pages get visited, roughly where in the world visitors are, and which links get clicked. None of it is tied to your name or your email. We use it to work out whether the site is doing its job.
Why we collect it
- To tell you when Ripple reaches the App Store
- To let you know when Wayfinder pricing opens, since it is only available to people who joined the waitlist before launch
- To send notes about how the build is going
- To send other announcements about Ripple, such as new features, changes to pricing, or anything else worth knowing as a member
That is the entire list, and all of it is about Ripple. We will not email you about anyone else's product, and we will not pass your address to a company that would.
Where it is stored
Waitlist emails are stored in Google Firebase, on servers in the United States, and a copy sits in Brevo, the service we use to send email. Both process data on our behalf. When the app launches, memberships are bought inside the app through Apple, so Apple takes the payment and holds the card. Ripple never sees your card number at any point.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to advertisers or data brokers.
A small number of services keep the business running, and they handle data on our behalf under their own terms: Google Firebase for storage and hosting, Brevo for sending email, Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics, and Apple for in-app purchases once the app launches. We would also hand over information if the law required it.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until you tell us you are done. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes you off the list entirely, not just off that one mailing.
Your choices
See what we hold
Email us and we will tell you exactly what is attached to your address. For most people on the waitlist that is one email address and one timestamp.
Delete it
Email us and your address comes out of our systems. Encrypted backups held by our providers may keep a copy for a short while before they cycle out, and we never touch those backups for anything else.
Correct it
If you typed your address wrong, send us the right one and we will fix it.

Where you live may give you more rights than these, under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We give everyone the choices above regardless of where they are.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracking pixels. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits. Block them in your browser and the site works exactly the same.
Children
Ripple is for adults. The app will be restricted to users 18 and over, and this website is not directed at children. If you believe a child has given us their email address, tell us and we will delete it immediately.
When the app launches
Ripple will then collect much more: your birth date, birth time, birth location, your photos, your profile, and your messages. That is far more personal than an email address, and it needs a fuller policy written before the app ships. We will publish it before anyone can create an account, and we will email the list when we do.
Two things we can commit to now. Your birth data exists to cast your chart and score compatibility, and nothing else. And Ripple will not sell your personal information, at launch or ever.
Changes to this policy
If we change it, we update the date at the top. If we change it in a way that affects what we do with your information, we will email you about it as well.
